Richard Marchino

Richard Edward Marchino of Roscoe, NY, a former mechanic for the Town of Rockland Highway Department and a long-time area resident died Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, NY.

The son of the late Peter and Ida Migliorini Marchino, he was born on April 14, 1958 in New York City, NY.

Richard was a 30 year member and former Chief of the Roscoe-Rockland Fire Department.

Survivors include his wife Jan M. Kasch Marchino, at home; two daughters, Lisa Hodny and her husband Curtis of Ferndale, NY and Amy   Marchino-Coney of Roscoe, NY; three granddaughters, Kailey Coney, Isabella Hodny, and Katharine Hodny; and his best friend Steve Hecht. He was pre deceased by his brother, Ernest Marchino in August of 2016.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 5-7 PM in the Harris Funeral Home Railroad Ave., Roscoe, NY.  Firematic Services will commence at  7 PM followed by the Funeral Service.  Father Edward Bader will officiate.
