Mary Magenta

Mary M. Magenta a homemaker and a long-time resident of Hurleyville, NY, died Wednesday May 31, 2023 at 12:06 a.m. at Maimonides Hospital. She was 70 years old.  Born in Brooklyn, NY on November 25, 1952, she was the daughter of William and Helen Jackson-Power.

Mary enjoyed spending her time with family, especially her two beautiful grandchildren Liam and Caleb.

She was survived by her husband, Natale Magenta; her three children, Ralph, Julie and Anthony Magenta; her two grandchildren, Liam and Caleb McCassin; as well as her three brothers, Phillip Crevier, Willliam Power and John Power; and her sister, Arlene Crevier-Sampino; and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her sister, Georgeanna Crevier-Wysokowski.

Visitation will be Monday, June 5, 2023 from 11AM to 12:30 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.  Graveside services and burial will be Monday, June 5, 2023 at 1 PM in the Sullivan County Veteran's Cemetery, Sunset Lake Rd., Liberty, NY.  Father Edward Bader will officiate.
