Ann Gelman

Ann T. Gelman of Roscoe, NY, a retired travel agent and long time area resident died Friday, January 6, 2017 at the Achieve Rehab and Nursing Facility in Liberty, NY. She was 86.

The daughter of the late Charles A. Westfield, III and Josephine Washeur Westfield, she was born April 1, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY.

Ann was a communicant of the Gate of Heaven Church in Roscoe, NY, a member of the Roscoe-Rockland Senior Citizens, and a former member and Past President of the Women's Travel Agent Association.

Survivors include her sister-in-law, Arlene Maimin and her husband Eugene of Fair Lawn, NJ, several nieces and nephews, and her devoted care giver Lori Lamica-Nelson.

Ann was predeceased by her devoted husband of 47 years, Bernard Gelman on December 22, 2016; one brother, Charles Westfield, IV and one sister, Gertrude DeMarco.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM in the Harris Funeral Home Railroad Ave., Roscoe, NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 noon in the Gate of Heaven Church Highland Ave., Roscoe, NY. Father Edward Bader will officiate.

Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery, Roscoe, NY.
