Barbara Cromie

Barbara Cromie of Roscoe, NY, a retired cook at the Roscoe Nursing Home, and a life long area resident, died Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at the Roscoe Regional Rehab. and Residential HCF, Roscoe, NY.  She was 95.

The daughter of the late Howard and Annabelle Finnegan Lake, she was born September 3, 1926 in Roscoe, NY.

Survivors include one son, John Pappas of Vail, AZ; her sisters, Ginger Wakeman of Roscoe, NY, Sharon Keene of Cooks Falls, NY, Alice Meyers of Roscoe, NY, and Carol Gerow of Carey, NC.

She was predeceased by three brothers, William, Donald, and Thomas Lake; three sisters, Dorothy Pherrigo, Joyce Bury, and Rosemary Fassberger; and one son, George Pappas.

The family has chosen to remember Barbara’s life privately at this time.
