Bernard "Mickey" Chester Moore, Jr.

Bernard "Mickey" Chester Moore, Jr. of Accord, NY a carpenter and a long time area resident, died Monday, January 19, 2026 at Golden Hill Nursing and Rehab. Center, Kingston, NY. He was 72.

The son of the late Bernard Sr. and Joan Ann Atkin Moore, he was born July 12, 1953 in Warwick, New York.

Bernard loved to hunt and fish and he did so until he was unable to; he enjoyed watching old western tv shows and catalog shopping. His favorite time was spent with this family and friends.

Survivors include his son, Jason Moore and his wife Katerina of Accord, NY; two daughters, Tracy Moore and her husband Darrin Ruff of Cuddebackville, NY and Desiree Scott of Campbell Hall, NY; his grandchildren, Joshua Moore, Ian Moore, Brittany Klein, Alexis Ruff, Jaelyn Ruff, Tabitha Scott and Kieran Scott; his siblings, Linda Tomlinson and her husband Walter of Warwick, NY, Peter Moore and his wife AnnMarie of Warwick, NY, Toni Moore of Warwick, NY, Kathryn Oldfield and her husband Lawrence of Lisbon, NY, and David Moore of AZ; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Brenda Lee Moore; his sister, Patricia Cioriano and her husband Vincent; and brother in law, Steve Cipriano.
