Bruce "Hot Rod" Dennison

Bruce “Hot Rod” Dennison of Liberty, NY, a retired sanitation worker for private haulers in Rockland County, NY and a longtime area resident, died Saturday, December 13, 2025 at his home. He was 75.

The son of the late Cecil and Deon Van Dunk Dennison, he was born June 13, 1950 in Suffern, NY.

Survivors include his wife, Cheri L. Brush Dennison, at home; four sons, Bruce Dennison and his wife Jennifer of FL, Wayne Evan and his wife Melissa of Harriman, NY, John Brush and his wife Melissa of Cochecton, NY and Bobby Brush of Loris, SC; two daughters, Kimberly Marino and her husband Joe of Tappan, NY and Sharron Martinez and her husband William of White Lake, NY; one brother, William Dennison and his wife Cheryl of Monroe, NY; one sister, Veronica Peterson and her husband John of Blooming Grove, NY; thirteen grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 17, 2025 from 6-8 PM in the Harris Funeral Home West Street at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Dignified cremation will be provided by Harris Crematorium, LLC.
