Cathleen "Cathy" M. Rampe

Cathleen “Cathy” M. Rampe of Roscoe, NY a registered nurse at The Center for Discovery, Harris, NY and a life long area resident passed away Wednesday June 4, 2025 at Westchester Co. Medical Center, Valhalla, NY. She was 55.

The daughter of Helen M. Shields Shortall and the late Gerald P. Shortall, she was born March 10, 1970 in Port Jervis, NY.

Cathy enjoyed partaking in Pageants with her daughters; in 2021-2022 she held the Elite Ms Title for Sullivan County. She was a huge part of the pageant community and a great friend. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband Charles F. Rampe, at home; her son, Kevin Shortall and his companion Megan Rupert of VA; her daughters, Amanda Rampe and her husband Thomas of St. Petersburg, FL and Molly Rampe, at home; one grandson, Wyatt Flynn; four brothers, Kevin Shortall of Monticello, NY, Brian Shortall and his wife Linda of Liberty, NY, Timothy Shortall and his wife Jan of MD and Shawn Shortall and his husband Renzo of Soriano, Italy; two sisters, Janet Shortall and her husband Bryan Bates of Ithaca, NY and Tara Magee and her husband Chris of NC; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 4-7 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, Railroad Ave. Roscoe, NY.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 10 AM in the funeral home. The Rev. Janet Shortall will officiate.

Burial will be in the Callicoon Center Cemetery, Callicoon Center, NY.
