Charles C. McAdams

Charles C. “Chuck” McAdams, Sr. of South Fallsburg, NY, a bus driver for Rolling V Bus Company and a lifelong area resident, died Monday, May 20, 2024 at the Westchester County Medical Center, Valhalla, NY.  He was 70.

The son of the late Charles E. and Jennie A. Makinster McAdams, he was born April 15, 1954 in Liberty, NY.

Chuck was a graduate of Livingston Manor Central School; he enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, camping, and barbequing.

Survivors include two sons, Charles C. McAdams, Jr. and his companion, Lynnea Schleiermacher of Livingston Manor, NY and Scott McAdams of North Carolina; two daughters, Brandy Davis and her husband Fred of White Lake, NY and Tania McAdams of Leland, NC; two step sons, Warren McCombs and his wife Melissa of Woodbourne, NY and Joseph McCombs of Loch Sheldrake, NY; one step daughter, Kelly McCombs of Loch Sheldrake, NY, two brothers, Stephen McAdams of Grahamsville, NY and William Farren; two sisters, Karla McAdams of Grahamsville, NY and Dawn Atkins of Parksville, NY; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.   He was predeceased by his wife Rosemarie Boyd McAdams; his granddaughter, Hope McCombs; one brother, Frances Farren; and two sisters, Karen McAdams and Janet Dailey.

Visitation will be Friday, May 24, 2024 from 12 noon until 2 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, West Street at Buckley, Liberty, NY.
