Charles Jackson

Charles T. Jackson of Liberty, NY, a self-employed contractor and a long time area resident, died Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the Northern Manor Mulitcare Center, Clarkstown, NY. He was 78.

The son of the late Charles A. and Pauline Abernathy Jackson, he was born September 8, 1938 in Mineola, NY.

Charles was a communicant of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Liberty, NY and he enjoyed studying the bible.

Survivors include Diane Jackson, at home; three sons, Michael Jackson of Liberty, NY, Sidney Jackson and his wife Nicole of Arlington, VA and Jarod Jackson and his wife Margaret of Liberty, NY; two daughters, Renee Wilson of Monticello and Meleanie Jackson of Schenectady, NY; one sister, Janice Russell and her husband Veon of Brooklyn, NY; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by one son, Charles A. Jackson.

Funeral services will be private.
