Darlene Y. Mantzouratos

Darlene Y. Mantzouratos of Roscoe, NY, a homemaker and a lifelong area resident, died Sunday, March 24, 2024, at the Garnet Health Medical Center, Harris, NY.  She was 69.

The daughter of the late Beverly Gray, she was born November 20, 1954, in Roscoe, NY.       

Darlene had been a member of the Liberty Ladies Bowling League, a member of the Twin Village Tuesday Night Ladies Golf League, and a member of the Roscoe-Rockland Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.  She enjoyed bowling and golfing and caring for her pet dogs.  For many years she assisted her husband in their restaurant.

Survivors include her husband, Spiro Mantzouratos at home; two daughters, Penny Jones and her husband Greg of Roscoe, NY and Bronx, NY and Annie Mantzouratos of Roscoe, NY; one son, Bob Mantzouratos and his companion Melissa Small of Roscoe, NY; one granddaughter, Mackenzie Mantzouratos and two grandsons, Finnley Mantzouratos and Kaiden Mantzouratos; and Madi, the cherished child of Terina and Mike.   

A private visitation was held in the Harris Funeral Home, Railroad Ave. Roscoe, NY.

Funeral services were held in the funeral home.   The Rev. Joseph LeConey officiated.

The burial was in Bon Air Cemetery, Roscoe NY. 

Memorial Contributions in Darlene’s name may be made to the Roscoe-Rockland Vol. Ambulance Corp. P. O. Box 321, Roscoe 12776 or to the Roscoe-Rockland Fire Department P. O. Box 202 Roscoe NY 12776.
