Diane Conroy

Diane Conroy of Jeffersonville, NY, the retired co-owner of The Cabin and a longtime area resident died Monday, October 26, 2026 at her home. She was 80.

The daughter of the late Thomas and Evelyn Morgan Bonotto, she was born March 11, 1946 in Queens, NY.

Diane had worked alongside her husband Richard before his passing for many years operating The Cabin. She was an Insurance Broker and had worked in the insurance field. She enjoyed bowling.

Survivors include two sons, Thomas Gutkaiss and his wife Melodie of Newburgh, NY and Jerome Gutkaiss and his companion, Rose of Middletown, NY; two grandchildren, Shaina and Thomas, Jr.; one great grandson, Wyatt Thomas.

Graveside services and burial will be Tuesday, November 10, 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery Sunset Lake Road, Liberty, NY. Father Thomas DeSimone will officiate.
