Donald Corbett

Donald Edward Corbett of Orangeburg, SC formerly of Neversink, NY, a retired brick mason with the Brick Layers Union Local #5 passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016 at home with his wife by his side. He was 70.

The son of the late Anthony and Martha Thompson Corbett, he was born December 30, 1945 in East Milnocket, ME.

Survivors include his wife, Julie Ann Welch Corbett; his children, Don Corbett of NY, Theresa Baez of NC, William Corbett and his wife Kristen of PA, Stephen Corbett and his wife Andrea of PA, Corey Dowe and his wife Nancy of PA, Jesse Dowe and his wife Jessica of NY, and Brendon Dowe and his wife Angela of AZ; 36 grandchildren/great-grandchildren; 4 brothers, David Corbett and his wife Joyce of MO, Gary Corbett and his wife Lil of FL, Paul Corbett and his wife Rita of MO and Dale Corbett and his wife Dianna of FL; brother in law, Brian Welch of FL and his in laws, Winnie and Emma Welch of NC.

He was predeceased by a sister, Betty Todd.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 10 AM to 12 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 12 PM in the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Grahamsville Rural Cemetery, Grahamsville, NY.

Following the committal service, the family will gather at the Loch Sheldrake Firehouse, Loch Sheldrake, NY.
