Dorothy Carol Ward of Liberty, NY, a retired social worker at Woodbourne Correctional Facility, Woodbourne, NY, and a long time area resident, died Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at her home. She was 76.
The daughter of the late Daniel Charles and Dorothy Carol Hitchcock Ward, she was born May 22, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY.
Visitation was Friday, September 5, 2014 from 9-10 AM in the funeral home.
Funeral services were Friday, September 5, 2014 at 10 AM in the funeral home. The Rev. Ryan Kresting-Schlimgen officiated.
Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.
