Eileen Elizabeth Adickes

Eileen Elizabeth Adickes of Cooks Falls, NY, a former secretary for the Bank of Montreal in New York City and a long-time area resident died Monday, July 6, 2026 at her home. She was 82.

The daughter of the late Walter and Emma Denninger Kirschmann, she was born March 1, 1944 in Queens, NY.

Eileen enjoyed working in her gardens at her home and will be fondly remembered as a "shopper" at the Dollar Store.

Survivors include her devoted husband, Kenneth Adickes, at home; two daughters, Diane Austria and her husband, Arnold and Debra Smith and her husband, Danny; four grandchildren, Charles Austria, Evan Austria, Landon Smith and Riley Smith; and one sister, Marilyn Engel.

At this time, the family has chosen to celebrate Eileen's life with private visitation and services.
