Eloise M. Porter

Eloise Mae Porter of Monticello, NY a retired chef at The Center for Discovery, and a lifelong area resident, died Saturday February 21, 2026 at her home. She was 93.

The daughter of the late Edo and Lula Terwilliger Porter, she was born September 3, 1932 in Monticello, NY.

Survivors include her daughter, Debra Thomas of Monticello, NY; and her son, Dale Porter of Monticello, NY; her grandchildren, Sea Thomas and their partner Connie Chang of Boston, MA and Sunny Thomas and her partner Mason Minerva of Monticello, NY; her son-in-law Jon Jon Thomas and way too many special loved ones to name. She was predeceased by her siblings Douglas, Stanley, Bernard, Raymond, Richard, Clifford, Eleanor and Dorothy.
