Floyd "Tim" Darbee, Jr.

Floyd K. “Tim” Darbee, Jr. of Roscoe, NY, a retired Registered Nurse, died Wednesday August 24, 2022 at the Roscoe Regional Rehabilitation and Residential Health Care Facility in Roscoe, NY.  He was 61.

The son of the late Floyd K. and Kathleen Whitehill Darbee, he was born November 22, 1960 in Roscoe, NY.

Tim worked as a Registered Nurse for the Sullivan County Correctional Facility in Woodbourne, NY.  He was an honorary member of the Roscoe-Rockland Fire Department, former member of the Roscoe-Rockland Vol. Ambulance Corp., and a past member of the Kinch Hill Hunting Club.

Survivors include his companion, Donna Baker at home; one son, F. Ethan Darbee of Syracuse, NY; two sisters, Debbie Hendrickson and her husband Bill of Roscoe, NY and Susan Early and her husband Dan of Downsville, NY; one brother, Tom Darbee and his wife Karen of Roscoe, NY; three stepchildren, Ashley Baker and her wife Jessica of Roscoe, NY, Mark Baker and his wife Ashley of Staatsburg, NY, and Dylan Baker and his companion, Tabitha Van Wagner of Surfside Beach, SC; one step-granddaughter, Lydia Baker; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Tim was predeceased by his stepmother, Von Darbee, and his two canine companions, Sierra and Riley.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 3, 2022 from 11 AM to 1 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, Railroad Ave. Roscoe, NY.

Firematic services will be conducted Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 1 PM in the funeral home.

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 1:15 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, Railroad Ave, Roscoe, NY.  Father Antony David will officiate.

Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery, Roscoe, NY.
