Gail Milk

Gail I. Milk of Roscoe, NY, a retired sandhog for Local # 147, New York City, NY and a lifelong area resident, died Monday, April 10, 2017 at his daughter's home. He was 85.

The son of the late Lester L. and Flossie Klinegardner Milk, he was born July 4, 1931 in Hancock, NY.

Gail proudly served Our Country in the US Army from 1952 to 1954; he was an avid hunter and gardener. Gail was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

Survivors include his sons, Joseph Milk of Roscoe, NY and Lester G. Milk of Claryville, NY; his daughters, Barbara Kennedy and her husband Steve of Sarasota, FL and Denise Farragher and her husband Lou of Narrowsburg, NY; two sisters, Gwen DiAggati of Starlight, PA and Shirley Fletcher of TX; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Cora J. Milk on August 14, 2013; and two brothers, Stewart and Dewayne Milk.

Visitation will be Friday, April 14, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, Railroad Ave. Roscoe, NY.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 1 PM in the funeral home. Pastor Edward Sostak will officiate.

Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery, Roscoe, NY.
