Gail S. Simpson

Gail Susan Simpson, a resident of Livingston Manor, NY entered into peaceful rest on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at her home, with her family by her side. She was 73.

The daughter of the late Harold E. Simpson and Esther M. Oestrich Simpson, she was born August 6, 1952 in Liberty, NY.

Gail was a devoted banker for 55 years. She started with Sullivan County National Bank in 1970, has been through seven conversions with the same bank and worked right up until her illness at the Wayne Bank, Roscoe Branch.

She leaves behind her loving family and caregivers, Frederick L. L. DuMond, Lindsey Lyon DuMond, his wife and their son Henry William DuMond, together with Tina L. Helms and her husband, Tunis Vanderpyle, who loved her very much and will miss her dearly.

She was predeceased by her two cousins who were like a sister and brother to her, Shelley DuMond Weinstein and Frederick William DuMond.

Visitation will be Friday, October 10, 2025 from 12 Noon to 2 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, Railroad Ave. Roscoe, NY. Funeral services will begin at 2 PM in the funeral home. Pastors Leon Dixon and Josh Stewart will co-officiate.

Burial will follow in Orchard Street Cemetery, Livingston Manor, NY.
