Gary Gabriel

Gary J. Gabriel of North Branch, NY, a retired Principal Account Clerk for Sullivan County Community College, Loch Sheldrake, NY, died Sunday, May 14, 2017.  He was 58.

The son of the late John W. and Betty J. Van Dyke Gabriel, he was born September 13, 1958 in Ridgewood, NJ.

Gary was a former member of the North Branch Volunteer Fire Department; he enjoyed woodworking, hiking, fishing, and camping; and he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Mary E. Rehm Gabriel at home; one daughter, Marjorie Hedmeck and her husband Andrew of Walnutport, PA; one son, Nicholas W. Gabriel of Meadville, PA; two step daughters, Jean Marie Psarudakis and her husband Robert of Hale Eddy, NY and Roseann Haggerty and her fiancAC. Brian Cole of Livingston Manor, NY; two sisters, Suzanne Munley of Henrico, VA and Gloria Krause and her husband Darryl of Narrowsburg, NY; five grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, and cousins.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 4-7 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, Railroad Ave. Roscoe, NY.
