Gary F. Griffin

Gerry Griffin, 67, of Tarpon Springs, Florida, passed away on May 20, 2026. He was born in Brooklyn, NY. He grew up in Jeffersonville, NY and graduated from Jeffersonville-Youngsville Central School. 

He is survived by his sisters, Virginia Bernhardt and Carol Griffin Kaufmann and her husband George Kaufmann, his niece, Jessica Lynn Pedroza and her husband Carlos Pedroza. He also leaves behind his extended family - Adam, Kim, Steve, Malaya, Jim, Sally, Joe, Stephanie, Mary - and many friends at The Shepard Center. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles C Griffin, Jr, his mother Ann Louise Hicks Griffin; and his older brother Charles C. Griffin III. 

Gerry was passionate about music. The kind of listener who knew every lyric, every riff, and exactly when to turn up the volume. Carol suggests playing your favorite song a little louder and thinking of Gerry.
