Geoffrey A. Perrin

Geoffrey Anders Perrin, 75, of Pine Bush, New York, passed away on April 9, 2026.

Geoffrey was born on September 12, 1950, in the Bronx, New York, where he grew up as the second youngest of five siblings. He lived a full and complex life, marked by hard work, perseverance, and ultimately a deep pursuit of faith.

He spent over 40 years working as an ironworker with Local 40 in New York City. He was known for his strong work ethic and took pride in his trade, eventually going on to start his own successful company. Providing for his family was always important to him, and he carried that responsibility seriously.

Geoffrey’s life was not without its struggles. However, after coming to know the Lord in his early 20s, his life took on a different direction. He sought to understand God’s love, pursue wisdom, and live in the grace of His forgiveness. Though he faced many challenges over the years, he never lost his faith.

At his core, Geoffrey wanted to see his children grow and to have a relationship with them. It brought him great joy to share that connection later in life. While he did not have the example of a father’s love growing up, he did his best. In his own way, he sought to be present, and that effort meant more than words can fully express.

Geoffrey did not fear death. He longed to be with Jesus and hoped that those he loved would also come to know the Lord.

His passing brings both sorrow and joy - sorrow in his absence, but joy in knowing he is now free from the pain of this life and in the presence of the Lord, made whole and restored.

He is survived by his two children, whom he loved deeply.

He is now at peace, restored and in the presence of the Lord.

“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”
— Romans 8:18
