Gloria Campos

Gloria E. Campos of Liberty, NY a home maker and a long time area resident, died Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Garnet Health Medical Center, Middletown, NY.  She was 74.

The daughter of the late Julio Cesar Rivas and Iris Claudio, she was born February 4, 1949 in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico.

Gloria enjoyed reading, cooking, crocheting and spending time with her family.  She had been a foster mother for many years.

Survivors include her children, Richard Campos and his wife Judith of Florida, NY, Julian Campos of Cape Canaveral, FL, Edwin Campos and his wife Sonia of San Juan, PR; Rafael Campos of Carolina, PR; Brandy L. Campos of Texas City, TX, Eveleese Lake and her husband Adam of Liberty, NY, and Natalia Campos of Houston, TX; one brother, Carlos Rivas of Utah; one sister, Carmen Velez of Bronx, NY; 11 grandchildren, Brandon Campos, Ariadna Campos, Autumn Black, Alex Roebuck, Ayden Campos, Destiny Reese, Marriah Reese, Dominic Reese, Corinne Lake, Camden Lake, and Catalina Lake; two great grandchildren, Kayden Campos and Brody Reese; many nieces and nephews; and her former husband, Rafael Campos.

Visitation will be Friday, August 18, 2023 from 4 to 7 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY and again on Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 11 AM to 1 PM in the funeral home.  Funeral services will be Saturday August 19, 2023 at 1 PM in the funeral home.  The Rev. Paul Minton will officiate.
