Gloria P. Jackson

Gloria P. Jackson of Liberty, NY a retired child development provider and a longtime area resident passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at Achieve Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was 73.

The daughter of the late Andrew and Claudine Wilkins Wallace, she was born July 25, 1952 in Queens, New York.

Gloria loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed playing Angry Birds, solving crossword puzzles, and soaking up the sunshine.

She is survived by her sons, Anthony Jackson of Brooklyn, NY, Timontio Jackson and his wife Robin of PA, Andew Jackson and his wife Michelle of Ellenville, NY, Wilfred Jackson and his wife Esena of CO, Pedro Raul Gilbert Jackson and his wife Kala Jackson of Liberty, NY, and Charles Jackson of Long Island, NY; her daughters, Tesha Primo Jackson of TX and Tanya Jackson of FL; her sisters, Beverly Wallace, Kathy Wallace, and Karen Wallace; her brother Del Wallace; 26 grandchildren including Teandra, Kianna, Elyse, Joshua, Jeremy, Meya, George, Andrew, Taevon, Andre, Melijah, Raheem, Jamel, Tawana, Michelle, Naomi, Lakeam, Miaya, SaiVonn of Ellenville, and Brianna Jackson of Liberty, NY; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Louis Jackson; sons Russell Jesse Jackson and Charles Jackson; sister Linda Wallace; and brothers James Wilkins and Melvin Wallace.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 22, 2026 from 11 AM to 1 PM in the Harris Funeral Home West Street at Buckley, Liberty, NY. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at 1 PM in the funeral home. Father Edward Bader will officiate. Burial will be in Sullivan County Veteran’s Cemetery, Liberty, NY.
