Grace Krug

Grace T. "Gay" Krug of Lake Muskoday, NY, a homemaker and longtime area resident died Thurs., Nov. 29, 2018 at the Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, GA.  She was 93.

The daughter of the late Joseph and Magdalen Stockenberg Dertinger, she was born Dec. 6, 1924 in Bronx, NY.

Gay was a communicant of St. Mary's R.C. Church in Obernburg and a former member of the parish Alter & Rosary Society; a former employee of the Roscoe Library; a former teacher’s aide at St. Paul's School in Congers, NY; and a former Brownie and Girl Scout Leader.

Survivors include two sons, William C. Krug, III and Michael Krug; two daughters, Lori Krug-Stephenson and Susan O'Connell; a brother, Joseph E. Dertinger, Jr.; 16 grandchildren; nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be Fri., Dec. 7, 2018 from 4-7 PM in the Harris Funeral Home Railroad Ave., Roscoe, NY.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Sat., Dec. 8, 2018 at 11 AM in St. Mary's Church, Obernburg, NY.  Father G. Baker will officiate.  Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
