Isaac E. Levy of Liberty, NY, called "Ernie" by family and his friends, died on June 24, 2011 at the age of 84, a few months after suffering a stroke. He is the son of the late Albert and Lillian Herman Levy he was born June 20, 1927 in New York, NY.

Ernie was recognized as a master craftsman of museum quality miniature furniture whose work is featured in museums and private collections of miniature enthusiasts throughout the country. He spent many of his younger years working at Grossinger's Hotel as a bellman and he was a World War II veteran that served in the Navy. He was known for his sharp wit and unique sense of humor, which stayed with him all the way up to the very end of life.

Survivors include his loving wife of nearly 64 years, Edna Levy; his five children, Mark Levy, Renee Kubryk, Lori Levy, David Levy, and Susan Garbow; his five grandchildren, Trista Polo, Adam Kubryk, Brynne Levy, Alex Chadwick, and Ethan Garbow.

Funeral services will be Sunday (today), June 26, 2011 at 1 PM in the Harris Funeral Home West St at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Burial with military honors will be in the Sullivan County Veteran's Cemetery Sunset Lake Road, Liberty, NY.
