James W. Everett

James W. Everett of Patterson, NY, formerly of Fallsburg, NY a retired laborer, died Friday, May 16, 2025 at Putnam Hospital. He was 71.

The son of James and Margaret Vickers Jones Hopkins, he was born July 5, 1953 in Liberty, New York. 

James proudly served Our Country in the US Army. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing. 

Survivors include his companion, Sandra Tompkins; his brother, Benny Hopkins and his wife Tina; his sisters, Rose Goetz and Angel Trieber; two adoptive sisters, Evelyn Everett and Nancy Everett; his children, Kayla Everett, Christian Everett, Kyna Greenley and her husband Joseph, Hope Rose, Dorothy Rose, James Everett and Harry Winand. 

He was predeseased by his sisters, Margaret McCarthur and Betty Milk, two brothers Kenny and Ricky Hopkins and his brother-in-law Bill Goetz. 

Graveside Services and Burial will be Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 12 Noon at the Liberty Cemetery, Liberty, NY.
