Joan Beckerich

Joan Beckerich of Liberty, NY, a longtime area resident died Saturday, November 8, 2025 at home. She was 74.

The daughter of the late Howard and Elaine Miller Quellman, she was born February 22, 1951 in Bronx, NY.

Joan had worked as a medical assistant in Queens, NY before moving to Sullivan County. She enjoyed shopping, reading, and listening to music.

Survivors include her sister, Janet Quellman of Liberty, NY; and her boyfriend, Steve Butler of Middletown, NY.

She was predeceased by her sister, Sheryl Goldman in May 2024.

Graveside service and burial will be Friday, November 14, 2025 at 11 AM in Ahavath Israel Cemetery, Liberty, NY.
