Joseph Poptanich, Jr.

Joseph Poptanich, Jr., of Roscoe, NY and formerly of Ulster County, NY died Monday, December 29, 2025 at the Roscoe Regional Rehab and Residential Health Care Facility in Roscoe, NY. He was 74.

Joseph was a Mechanical Engineer and retired as a supervisor for the buildings and grounds at the US Military Academy at West Point, NY. He is a former member and Past President of the Orange County Co-Operative Extension, a thirty-year 4-H Leader in Orange County, former member and past Captain of the Wallkill Vol. Ambulance Corp., and a former member and Past President of the Ulster County Ambulance Association.

Family and Friends are invite to gather Thursday, January 15, 2026 at 7 PM in the Harris Funeral Home Railroad Ave., Roscoe, NY.
