Kevin R. Hutton

Kevin R. Hutton of Norwich, NY, a retired Fireman for the New York City Board of Fire Underwriters, died Monday, May 19, 2025 at Garnet Health Hospital, Harris, NY. He was 67.

The son of the late Richard and Helen Conner Hutton, he was born on August 16, 1957 in Brooklyn, NY.

Kevin was a veteran for the US Army. He will be remembered as being an excellent baseball player in his younger years and he had worked for Sureway Taxi after retiring from fire service. He enjoyed listening to music, reading, and caring for his family.

Survivors include four brothers Joseph Hutton and his wife Jean of Las Vegas, NV, Thomas Hutton of Norwich, NY, James Hutton and his companion Susan Morris of Norwich, NY, and Michael Hutton of Las Vegas, NV; two sisters Katherine Rocco and her husband Thomas of South Carolina and Helen Deis and her husband Harry of Liberty, NY. He was predeceased by his sister, Margaret Shannon.

At this time, the family will celebrate Kevin’s life will be privately.

Dignified cremation will be provided by the Harris Crematorium, LLC.
