Linda Kitson

Linda Kitson, 65, died June 7, 2023 at Garnet Medical Center in Middletown, surrounded by her devoted and loving children.

Born August 12, 1957 in Liberty, NY, Linda was the daughter of Arthur and Florence Wood Leewe.  She graduated from Delaware Valley Central School in 1975.

Linda was a homemaker before working in the time share office at the Villa Roma in Callicoon.  She was the most selfless mother and grandmother that any child could ask for. When not spoiling a child or attending one of their many events, she loved to knit and occasionally make her opinions known on social media. She loved solving crossword puzzles with her Aunt Joan. Her greatest joy came in having her family around her during the holiday season.

She is survived by her mother, Florence; her husband, Thomas; three sons, Brian (Kristen), Matthew, and John (Missy); a daughter, Megan; four grandchildren, Dominic, Gianni, Andrew, and Flora; one brother, Michael (Jeanne); three sisters-in-law, Anna Altbach, Marie Graby, and Pam Kitson; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her father; her aunts Joan Leewe, Fay Mears, Shirley Barney, and Nancy Eggler; her uncle Lawrence “Arnie” Wood; and in-laws John Kitson, Margaret and Arch MacIssac, Willy Kitson, Bill Graby, and Martin Kitson.

At her wish, there will be a small private ceremony with her family.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Linda’s name to the charity of one’s choice.
