Marion Annabelle Giacalone

Marion Annabelle Giacalone passed away peacefully at home on June 8, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on October 8, 1938 in Queens, New York, Marion was the beloved daughter of William and Anna Joerger.

Marion dedicated many years of her life to serving others as a food service worker in the New York City public school system.

She enjoyed cooking meals for her family, watching the Mets, and spending time with her granddaughters. Her loyal cockatoo, Bella, was her daily companion and a true part of the household.

Marion was a loving mother to her son George and daughter Johanna, and a proud grandmother to Nicole, Melissa, and Angela.

She is predeceased by her parents and her siblings Annabelle, Delores, Christian and Billy.

Marion leaves behind a family that will remember her stories, her routines, and the quiet strength she carried through the years. She will be greatly missed.

Memorial services will be held privately.
