Marion E. VanDenberg of Parksville, NY, the retired co-owner of Hillside Greenhouses in Liberty, NY and a longtime area resident died Sunday, April 4, 2021 at the Garnet Health Medical Center, Harris, NY.  She was 92.

The daughter of the late Norman and Janie Mae Ganter Byers, she was born December 1, 1928 in Niagara Falls, Canada.

Marion enjoyed her flower gardens; she was a former member of The Red Hat Society; a former officer and member of The Order of Eastern Star; and she enjoyed her Bible study group with her friends.  Marion and Donald traveled all over the world together, in their motorhome.

Survivors include her husband, Donald N. VanDenberg, at home; two sons, Glenn VanDenberg and his wife Bonnie of Claryville, NY and Dale VanDenberg and his wife Carol of Liberty, NY; two granddaughters, Jennifer Pisaniello and her husband Michael of Neversink, NY and Amy Smith and her husband Craig of Holland Patent, NY; three grandsons, Michael VanDenberg and his companion April Wright of Grahamsville, NY, Kevin VanDenberg of Liberty, NY and Daniel VanDenberg of Liberty, NY; five great grandchildren; and her Claryville friends.

She was predeceased by one grandson, Jonathan VanDenberg.

Memorial services will be private.
