Michael J. Cox of Liberty, NY, died Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at the Delhi Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Delhi, NY. He was 76.

The son of the late Paul Otis Cox, Sr. and Hazel Irene Baker Cox, he was born October 5, 1948 in New York City, NY.

Michael worked at Warehouse Paint and Carpet in Liberty, NY.

Survivors include his daughter, Amy Cox; a brother, Paul O. Cox, Jr.; a sister, Sally Quinones and brother-in-law Jesse Quinones; his nephews Paul Cox III and Mark Quinones; his nieces Laurie Cox and Karen Quinones; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Paul Cox IV, Kaiden Everett, Cody Morgan Cox, Liam Reyes, Riley Cox, Aaron Cuttler, Arianna Razukas, Alexander Garcia Jr. and Danileigh Garcia.

He was predeceased by his sister-in-law Debbie Soules and his brothers-in-law, Scott Soules and Roger Soules.

At this time Michael’s family has chosen to celebrate his life privately.

Dignified cremation will be provided by the Harris Crematorium, LLC.
