Michael Crosson

Michael Crosson of Chester, NY a Supervisor at Monroe Cable Company, Inc in Middletown and a life long area resident died Wednesday, August 12, 2026. He was 61.

The son of the late Lorraine and Micheal ‘Old Mike’ Crosson, he was born January 26, 1965 in Middletown, NY.

Michael found great joy in spending time with family and friends at the lake, where he enjoyed camping, fishing, playing cornhole and horseshoes. He loved playing golf and especially cherished watching Melissa play softball. A devoted fan of the New York Jets and Mets, Michael also enjoyed working with his hands as a hobby carpenter. He treasured the simple pleasures in life and the many memories made with those he loved.

Survivors include his daughters, Melissa Crosson (Becca Dewing) and Samantha Houghtaling (Eric Kowalski); his siblings, Terri Crosson (John Lanc), Karen Gill (Chris Gill), Danny Crosson (Stephanie Crosson); and several nieces and nephews- Tyler, Lauren, Christopher, Danielle, Kerry, Ryan.

Funeral services will be private.
