Michael Mullen

Michael "Mickey" S. Mullen of Neversink, NY, a superintendent at the Sullivan County Airport in White Lake, NY and a lifelong area resident passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY. He was 55.

The son of the late William and Jacqueline Dibble Mullen, he was born August 29, 1961 in Liberty, NY.

Michael proudly served our country in the US Navy; he was a member of the Grahamsville Reformed Church; a 15 year member of the Neversink Fire Department-Station # 25; a councilman for the Town of Neversink; a member of the Neversink Roundout Antique Tractor Club; and a member of the Aden Night Riders. He loved spending time with his sons and he was an avid golfer.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Denman Mullen, at home; two sons, Devin Mullen and Ian Mullen; one step daughter, Lauren Utmost; one brother, Todd Mullen and his companion Nancy Lomax of Cherry Valley, NY; one sister, Peggy Eisenberg and her husband Steve of Ft. Meyers, FL; in-laws, Carl and Marge Denman of Bradley, NY; sisters-in-law, Linda Muthig and her husband Dennis of Parksville, NY and Carol VanDenberg and her husband Dale of Liberty, NY; his step mother, Ellie Wells of Parksville, NY; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY. The Neversink Fire Dept. will conduct services at 7 PM in the funeral home; followed by US Navy Military services.

Funeral services will be Sunday, December 11, 2016 at 1 PM in the Grahamsville Reformed Church, Grahamsville, NY. The Rev. Paul Ruter will officiate.

Burial will be in the Grahamsville Rural Cemetery, Grahamsville, NY, at a later date.

Memorial contributions in Michael's name may be made to Devin and Ian Mullen - Future Fund, 6552 State Route 55, Liberty, NY 12754.
