Michele Glassel

Michele I. Glassel of North Branch, NY, a retired Post Mistress for the Youngsville, NY Post Office and a lifelong area resident died Thursday, August 13, 2026 at her home. She was 68.

The daughter of the late Michael and Florence Riker Antosh, she was born December 16, 1957 in Jeffersonville, NY.

Michele retired after thirty-four years of working in the Post Office and was a member of the Retired Post Masters Association. She enjoyed knitting, crafts, metal work, wood working, playing cards, board games and working in her flower gardens.

Survivors include her husband, Glenn G. Glassel, at home; one sister, Florence Elizabeth Gorton and her husband Todd of Cabool, Missouri and several nieces and nephews.

At this time, the family has chosen to celebrate her life privately.
