Nancy Eggler

Nancy E. Eggler of White Sulphur Springs, NY, a lifelong area resident died Thursday, February 2, 2023 at the Garnet Health Medical Center in Harris, NY.  She was 83.

The daughter of the late Malvin W. and Grace E. Gaudette Wood, she was born January 30, 1940 in North Branch, NY.

Nancy had been an operator for the New York Telephone Company and later worked with her late husband, as owners of Eggler Automatic in White Sulphur Springs, NY.  She was an avid reader, enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling.

Survivors include her son, Wayne Berberich; two daughters, Melissa Trask and her husband Emerson, and Susan Skinner and her husband John; two step daughters, Bonnie Peters and her husband Kevin and Donna Hemmer and her husband John; six sisters, Florence Leewe, Jean Molusky, Leona Hunt and her husband Robert, Donna Donatelli, Joy Thies and her husband Richard and Prudy Robisch and her husband Tim; eleven grandchildren, Sarah Samuell and her husband Zack, Rachel Snuverink and her husband Ryan, Nathan, and Ethan Berberich, Ryan and Owen Trask, Erin and Joseph Skinner, Derek Austin, Jaclene Poley and her husband Chris, and Dylan Peters; one great granddaughter, Genavieve Poley; one great grandson, Jack Poley; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, John "Jack" Eggler; two sisters, Fay Mears and Shirley Barney and one brother, Lawrence "Arnie" Wood.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 7, 2023 from 4-7 PM in the Harris Funeral Home West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 11 AM in the funeral home.  The Rev. Joycalyn Jordan will officiate.

Burial will be in the Laurel Hill Cemetery, White Sulphur Springs, NY.
