Patricia N. Bauernfeind

Patricia N. Bauernfeind of Milanville, PA, a longtime area resident died Monday, October 5, 2026 at the Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, PA. She was 61.

The daughter of the late William C. "Sonny" and Katie P. Soles Cain, she was born June 25, 1965 in Fayetteville, NC.

Patty had attended the Caulkins Baptist Church in Milanville, PA. She had worked as a Child Care Provider for fifteen years and later as a Home Health Aide. She will be remembered as someone who truly cared for others and for being a faithful Christian. Psalm 57.

Survivors include her husband, Mark A. Bauernfeind, at home; two sisters, Wanda Westerfield and her husband Todd of Pine Bush, NY, and Tamara Kay Davis and her husband Jerry of Kansas; four nieces, Ashley, Courtney, Hayleigh, and Jesse; three nephews, Michael, Sonny, and Chance.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 13, 2026 from 4-7 PM in the Harris Funeral Home West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at 11 AM in the Calkins Baptist Church 527 Calkins Road, Milanville, PA. The Reves. Lane Jones and Douglas Lee will officiate.

Burial will be in the Bauernfeind Cemetery, Jeffersonville, NY.
