Patricia Yelle

Patricia Yelle of Roscoe, NY, a long-time area resident, died Sunday April 14, 2024 at the Roscoe Regional Rehab. and Residential Health Care Facility, Roscoe, NY. She was 88.

Born to Elsie and Ray Piereth in College Point, NY, Pat spent her youth at the Arrow Yacht Club swimming, crabbing and sailing. It was there she met the love of her life, Jack. The couple made a life on 23rd Avenue raising their four children in the home that Pat herself grew up in, her loving parents living upstairs.

Pat co-owned and operated Morning Star Creations with Jack in Roscoe for many years. She was an accomplished artist and enjoyed pressed flower art and gardening. She was a communicant of Gate of Heaven Church, Roscoe, NY, where she had been a lecturer and Eucharist Minister. Pat was a former President of the Roscoe Free Library; a member of the Roscoe Garden Club; and a member of the Roscoe Chamber of Commerce.

Survivors include her children, Mary Elizabeth and her husband Javier Agredo of Brooklyn, NY, Raymond John Yelle and his wife Jill of Monmouth Junction, NJ, John Anthony Yelle and his wife Shawn of Bloomingburg, NY and Mary-Jeanne and her former husband David McQuillan of Sloatsburg, NY; fourteen grandchildren, Marisol (Ash), Adrian (Liana), Matthew, CJ, Lucas, Lauren (Aaron), Carinne, Lee, John Trevor, James, Lydia, Max, Dan and Casey; 5 great grandchildren; and her beloved friends.  She was predeceased by her husband John “Jack” Yelle in 2015; and her sister, Clarie Sheehan in 2014.

Memorial visitation will be Friday, April 19, 2024 from 5 to 7 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, Railroad Ave. Roscoe, NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated privately at Gate of Heaven Church. Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery, Roscoe, NY.
