Phyllis Blenman

Phyllis A. Blenman of North Branch, NY passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025 at her home. She was 72.

The daughter of the late John D. and Bertha M. Pittman Davis, she was born November 27, 1953 in Kings County, New York.

Phyllis worked for the New York City Board of Elections for over 26 years, she retired from that career and continued working for another 25 years at The Villa Roma Resort. She also worked for the Board of Elections for Sullivan County for many years. She was a Founding Member, Trustee and President of the Pastors at New Direction Baptist Church in Liberty. She was a dear friend to many and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her sons, Charles Anthony Davis and his companion Mona' Berrien of New York City, NY and Andre' Maurice Davis and his wife Janie Vine of Monticello, NY; her sister, Traci Simone Davis and her spouse Donna Campbell of Monticello, NY; her brother, Christopher Davis and his spouse Laurie of Brooklyn, NY; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, John and Bertha Davis; and her siblings, Joseph Davis, George Davis, James "Timothy" Davis, Barry Davis, Mary Florence Davis, and Linda Elaine Davis.

A Celebration of Life service will be Saturday January 31, 2026 at 11 AM in the New Direction Baptist Church, Liberty, NY.
