Rachel J. Koons

Rachel J. Koons of Liberty, NY, a lifelong area resident died Friday, February 23, 2024 at her home. She was 92.

The daughter of the late Donald and Inez Cutler Koons, she was born August 21, 1931 in Grooville, NY.

Rachel had attended the United Methodist Church, when she was able. She enjoyed music, stringing beads and writing letters.

Survivors include her sister, Nancy Marks of Liberty, NY; several cousins and her extended family at Timber Wolf.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 27, 2024 from 9-11 AM in the Harris Funeral Home West Street at Buckley, Liberty, NY. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 11 AM in the funeral home. The Rev. Robert Landau will officiate. Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery, Guilford, NY.
