Richard V. Cosgrove

Richard V. Cosgrove of Roscoe, NY, a retired Supervisor for PSE & G Utility in New Jersey died Saturday, October 4, 2025 at the Garnet Health Hospital in Harris, NY. He was 82.

The son of the late Richard J. and Stella Cosgrove, he was born December 16, 1942 in Passaic, NJ.Richard proudly served Our Country in the US Navy and is a former member of the VFW. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and watching Western movies. After retirement he worked at the Tennanah Lake Golf Course.

Survivors include one daughter, Carol C. Lawler and her husband Brian of Roscoe, NY; one brother, Henry Cosgrove of Carlstadt, NJ; one granddaughter, Carly ER Lawler of Roscoe, NY; one nephew, Eric Cosgrove of Carlstadt, NJ. He was predeceased by his wife, Diann Misiewicz Cosgrove, his son, Richard J. Cosgrove, and a nephew, Shawn Cosgrove.

At this time the family has chosen to celebrate Richard's life privately.
