Rita Ann Parsons Davis

Rita Ann Parsons Davis of Jeffersonville, NY, a homemaker and lifelong area resident died Monday, May 25, 2026 at the Westchester County Medical Center in Valhalla, NY. She was 79.

The daughter of the late Harry J. and Mabel M. Jensen Parsons, she was born September 16, 1946 in West Damascus, PA.

Rita enjoyed crocheting in her spare time and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Robert R. Davis, at home; one daughter, Bonnie Kent Schlottmann of Jeffersonville, NY; one brother, Harry "Stretch" Parsons of Callicoon Center, NY; and several nieces, nephews and close friends. She was predeceased by one brother, Roger Parsons and six sisters, Myra Parsons, Margaret Hust, Harriet Paynter, Barbara Whitley, Alice Thies and Eleanor Fitch.

At this time the family is celebrating her life privately.

Following dignified cremation at the Harris Crematorium, LLC, her cremains will be interred in the Lew Beach Cemetery, Lew Beach, NY.
