Robert Mcadams

Robert Roy McAdams 78, of East Branch, passed away Thursday, October 15, at Wilson Hospital in Johnson City.

Robert was born October 21, 1936 in the Town of Rockland. He was the son of Melvin and Helen (Dolgas) McAdams. Robert married Sandra Edwards on May 6. 1961. Bob was retired from the NY State Transportation Department, but through the years he worked as a stone cutter on the weekends which he loved. He was an avid fisherman of salmon, trout and eels. He spent hours on the Pepacton Reservoir in his boat. He caught some really large trout through the years.

He is survived by his wife Sandy and dog Chloe at home, daughters Christine Kauffman, East Branch, Natalie Prusik, Endicott, Kathleen MacGibbon, Deposit, and Susan Baber of Sugarland, Texas. Nine grandchildren Alyson, David, Andrea, James, Alex, Ethan, Daniel, Jessica and Hannah. Two great- grandchildren Liam and Leah. He was predeceased by his sisters Irene O'neill and Donna Foote.

Graveside services will be Friday, October 23, 2015 at 1 PM in the Cooks Falls Cemetery. The Rev. Dale Ashby will officiate.
