Robert Savage

Robert J. Savage of Ferndale, NY, a long time area resident, died Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale, PA.  He was 88.

The son of the late John and Victoria Lepke Savage, he was born May 10, 1932 in Waymart, PA.

Robert retired was a retired truck driver for Sullivan County Wholesaler's and a salesman for Schmidt's Wholesale and D&N Wholesale in Monticello.  He enjoyed traveling, tinkering around the house and restoring antiques.

Survivors include his wife, Irene I. Keator Savage, at home; and one daughter, Pamela Winters and her husband, Donald of Liberty, NY; three grandchildren, Donald Winters, Jr. of Liberty, NY, April Winters of Liberty, NY and Randolph Lewis of Newburgh, NY; two great-grandsons, Justin Winters of Liberty, NY and Sean Rankin of Liberty, NY.

He was predeceased by his parents; one daughter, Susan I. Savage; eight brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be private.
