Ronald H. Deppa

Ronald H. Deppa of Jeffersonville, NY, a retired rural mail carrier for the US Postal Service and a lifelong area resident, died Sunday, May 31, 2026 at his home. He was 67.

The son of Janet L. Norris Deppa and the late Herbert J. Deppa, he was born April 2, 1959 in Liberty, NY.

Ron was a member of the Antique Auto Club of America - Catskill Region and the Revival Auto Club. He enjoyed his 1979 Li'l Red Express, volunteering for Toys for Tots, working on cars, woodworking, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include two daughters, Rebecca Deppa of Jeffersonville, NY and Rachel Schultz and her husband Jason of Shoreham, NY; his mother, Janet Norris Deppa of Swan Lake, NY; one brother, Peter Deppa of Swan Lake, NY; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his wife Donna M. Deppa and a brother, James Jay Deppa.

Visitation will be Friday, June 5, 2026 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, West Street at Buckley, Liberty, NY.  Funeral services will be Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 11 AM in the First Presbyterian Church of Jeffersonville, Main Street, Jeffersonville, NY.  Burial will be in the Laurel Hill Cemetery, White Sulphur Springs, NY.
