Rosa Hernández

Rosa Hernández passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 28, 2026, at Achieve Rehab and Nursing Facility, at the age of 83. Born in Puerto Rico, Rosa lived a life filled with faith, love, and devotion to her family.

She was a devoted mother to her four beloved children: Angelo Ramos, Robert Ramos, Jose F. Roman, and Nelly Roman and grand children’s. Rosa was known by everyone as a kind, sweet, and loving person. She loved the Lord deeply, always wore a warm smile, and was quick to help others. Those who knew her felt truly blessed by her generous spirit and the many gifts she shared with everyone around her.

Rosa was a true lover of the manual arts and found great joy in sewing and knitting. Her passion for her craft was so strong that even while in her hospital bed, she would ask for her needles and yarn so she could continue to create. She wove love into everything she made, leaving behind a legacy of beauty, patience, and dedication that will be cherished forever.

Rosa’s life was a testament to faith, kindness, and service to others. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched.

Funeral services will be Monday, February 2, 2026 at 11 AM in the Harris Funeral Home West Street at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Interment will be Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 1:00 PM in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.
