Rosemary Bock

Rosemary Bock of Kiamesha Lake, New York, a home maker and a life long area resident, died Monday, February 6, 2023 at the Garnet Health Medical Center, Harris, NY.  She was 85.

The daughter of the late Gerald and Mary Gazawitz Moran, she was born May 31, 1937.

Rosemary was a communicant of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Monticello, NY where she had been the secretary for many years and she was a member of the Monticello Elks Lodge # 1544.  In her younger years, Rosemary had worked as a switchboard operator at local Catskill Hotels; along with working at the church, she worked at Walmart in Monticello, well into her 80's until her retirement.  She enjoyed crocheting, puzzle books, and bingo.

Survivors include her children, Robert Bock and his wife Hope of Cochecton, NY; Maryann Mueller and her husband Raymond of Castalian, TN, Kenneth Bock and his wife Patti of Monticello, NY and Michael Bock of Kiamesha Lake, NY; her grandchildren, Brian Bock, Eric Mueller, Scott Bock and Amber Berger; and her great grandchildren, Melonie Bock, Mason Bock, Jace Bock, and Kolton Berger; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Bock in January 2017; and one brother, Gerald Moran.

A memorial mass will be announced at a later date.  Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Monticello, NY.
