Ruth M. Misner of Swan Lake, NY, a homemaker and lifelong area resident died Friday, September 20, 2024 at the Achieve Rehab. and Nursing Facility in Liberty, NY. She was 92.
The daughter of the late Benjamin, Sr. and Julia King Coney, she was born April 8, 1932 in Monticello, NY.
Ruth had been a member of the Liberty Free Methodist Church, a member of the Town of Bethel Senior Citizen and was named the Town of Bethel Senior of the Year in 2008, she had also been a volunteer for 28 years at Achieve Rehab and Nursing Facility.
Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Stadtmuller and her husband Raymond of Edenton, No. Carolina; two sons, Emerson “Bucky” Misner Jr. and his wife Terry of Forked River, NJ and George Misner of Swan Lake, NY; ten grandchildren, many great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Emerson “Bucky” Misner, Sr. and two sons, Barry Colo and Richard Colo.
Visitation will be Friday, September 27, 2024 from 4-7 PM in the Harris Funeral Home West Street at Buckley, Liberty, NY.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 10 AM in the funeral home. The Rev. David Coon will officiate.
Burial will be in Rock Ridge Cemetery, Monticello, NY.
