Susan E. Kohler

Susan E. Kohler of Youngsville, NY a retired English Teacher for Poughkeepsie City School District, and a long-time area resident, died Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Garnet Health Medical Center, Middletown, NY. She was 80.

The daughter of the late Earl M. and Gertrude Smith Kohler, she was born June 10, 1945 in Dayton, Ohio.

Susan was a member of the Youngsville Reformed Church; a member of the NYS Teacher’s Retirement System; a member of the Youngsville Fire Department, Ladies Auxiliary and an organizer for the Book Sales for the Western Sullivan Public Library.

She is survived by her sister, Nancy A. Kohler of Youngsville, NY.
